It's been a whole month and a day since I last posted. Let me just say, I took the SAT and I'm getting my result tomorrow-maybe. I don't think I used contractions, practicing on this blog did pay off.
So I went on this college trip, and let me tell you I am excited about college, and I realized that I want to go away to college, but not that far. I kept comparing everywhere to NYC.!!!
Fashion U!! I am excited !!!!
I really wanted to wear this Alice Temperley dress with ruffles from target, but I couldn't find it, and I tried to get the store to reserve it for me, but of course that was not going to happen.
SO I went to Macy's one day sale on Saturday, and I bought for less than $60, 3 dresses, a cute bubble skirt, and a nice shirt. Except for the dress which was red by Marc Ecko, everything was American Rag!!
I'm thinking the skirt should be for Fashion U graduation.
And I was also accepted to attend an event, CosmoGirl! , Girls' night in tomorrow. I'll tell you how it went. so yea.

Billabong

Hii,
I have not written in so long.
Update: I was able to get into the Levis after party and X-fit Lycra class for fashion U-I'm excited about that.
Gossip Girl premiered on Wednesday-and it was awesome. The fashion is amazing.
I hate sparkles or sequins but this is beautiful, and I would so wear it, and buy it if it was not $450.00.
So before I Gossip Girls premiered, I was actually at Teen Vogue offices for a focus group. They bought us to element, Roxy, Billabong, and quicksilver, and we had to basically give our opinions on stuff. I got a cute Billabong bag, a pencil case kind of bag, hat, and planner. I met some of the coolest girls ever, and I got to see a bunch of cool Billabong ads that I guess I should not talk about, but all I can say is they're different. I learned about Design for Humanity, which you should check out. so yea.

fashion U
I really wishes I could have post about fashion week, but I have been super busy with school and college essays and stuff.
I must say that I am extremely proud of Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. I really did not think it was going to be that nice. The dresses are not so bad. They can make nice prom dresses, especially This black one (I hope the link works-if it does not go check out http://www.style.com/fashionshows/collections/S2008RTW/complete/thumb/LAMB)
so yea-what do you think? Prom is coming up soon-well in June.

Fashion Week-day2
I get out of school at 12 and I start at 7:45, which is still fabulous although I really wanted a 7AM-11:10.
So any ways, I'm in my last class-government and I can not help but daydream about fashion week. I seriously would skip school to go to a fashion week show, it is only an hour away or about 10 stops on the train.
BUT of course I'm not invited, so yeah. I will just have to read the many fashion blogs, fashion websites, and newspapers to know what is going on.

1st day of school!!!
I wore these really cute pair of black skinny jeans that I bought at Dr. Jays. (only $20!!!)The name is No Label, which I thought was kind of cute. I wore my 2 inch flip flops. I believe that skinny jeans should always be worn with heels, although they look nice with flats.
Speaking of flats-I do not like them much. They do look cute, and they are comfortable, BUT they are flat!! I like height, I was so much better and so much more "lady like" in shoes that are 2 inches high or more.
I wore this shirt-jersey inspired, that was really pretty. I bought it at Kohl's- first time shopping there, and I found some great stuff. I love that store, but I still wished I found that jumper Fergie wore in Big Girls Don't Cry. I was so mad. So yeah.
Let's not forget the simple accessory- a gold AK watch.
No HW, but I really should review some stuff, and get started on my millionth draft of my college essay.

Great Minds Think Alike
On Tuesday, I bought these cute pair of Mary Jane heels at target $19.99-they remind me of these Christian Louboutin shoes(625.00 at SAKS) which I cannot afford. I was joking around with my sister about how I should use red nail polish to make the sole of the shoes red so they could actually look Christian Louboutin. Well, on Fashion Fanatics with Stacey London on TLC, i learned that Mr. CL got inspiration for the red soles from red nail polish. (great minds think alike)

On Thursday, I went to the Whitney with some friends. The Summer of Love Exhibit was awesome. Then I went shopping. I went to Steve and Barry's to check out Amanda Bynes' line, Dear. It is a very cute line. Too colorful. I bought the black skinny jeans, a black jumper, a vertical stripped and a button down shirt. I bought this cute jacket from Bitten SJP. Then I went in search of the perfect flats-did not find them.So yea.

Booties everywhere
I can't help but notice that booties are everywhere. I went to pay less yesterday-and that was the first thing I noticed. I later went to target-and that was the first thing I noticed in the shoe department. I am not personally a fan of them, but I saw some at the Urban outfitters website that were not so bad.
